Out of the many Team Associated vehicles, two popular ones stick out to me. The RC10 car range (Click here to see what I mean, on Amazon), and the SC28 Short Course Truck (Click here to see the availability, on Amazon). Both of these are great in their own individual way, depending on how you want to use the vehicles.

The RC10

The RC10 buggy range (Click here to see if 1/10th or 1/8th is best) is a classic. Originated back in 1994 and has won 13 IFMAR World Championships. The B6.2D variation, in particular, is known for its efficient steering. This is largely due to its Gullwing suspension arms.

The SC28 fox Factory Short Course Truck RTR.

The SC28 Fox Factory short course truck is a stunning replica. It comes with a 2.4 GHz transmitter which allows you to get over obstacles and avoid the loss of transmission during a race.

This particular vehicle is also RTR meaning it’s ready to run out of the box, with the addition of some batteries. This appeals to beginners due to the fact they can avoid the headache of a kit car, such as having to purchase extra parts, piece it together and even paint it.

Losi referred to as Team Losi Racing or simply TLR is owned by the parent company Horizon Hobby. They have several Brands under their wing and Losi is one of them. Previously Team Losi Racing was a separate company launched by Gil Losi.

The 8IGHT buggy range is well known, mainly because it was a winner of many ROAR championship titles. As it is Ready to Run (RTR) it is easy to get up and running, especially for beginners. It can also be upgraded using some quality Losi parts.

For hobbyists or enthusiasts, upgrading is a great attraction, especially if they want to get the most out of the vehicle. It also has a pull starter. This makes it a lot easier to get started without needing a starter box.

Losi 1:18 Mini-T 2.0 2WD Stadium RC Truck RTR

The Losi 1:18 scale is a stadium RC truck meaning it can handle off-road well making it an excellent off-road racing vehicle. Also, great for bashing (Click here to see my best bashing RC cars). This vehicle is also RTR, meaning it’s ready to go out of the box, with the addition of some batteries.

Does Team Associated offer a Short Course truck?

The SC28 is a Short Course Truck (Click here to see the price, on Amazon) meaning it is a truck ideal for off-road. It is known as a short course track because they are known for running on closed courses. This is opposed to Trophy Trucks, known to run in open courses, for example in deserts.
